After a few disappointing years for the French design house, Celine, LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault appointed Phoebe Philo creative director for Celine on September 4, 2008.
Since then Philo has shown two collections and has received great reviews from editors globally and a great customer response after reinventing the label.
